Renewal Buddy Privacy Policy

Renewal Buddy is designed to work without account sign-in, bank linking, email scanning, or cloud storage. The app helps you track subscriptions, trials, recurring bills, renewal dates, categories, notes, and reminder preferences on your device.
Information Renewal Buddy collects
Renewal Buddy does not collect your manually entered renewal list, renewal notes, categories, prices, reminder settings, or subscription names on a developer server.
Information stored on your device
The renewal information you enter is stored locally on your device using app storage. This information is not sent to Renewal Buddy, Lauren Grinder, or a third-party server by the app.
Purchases
Renewal Buddy uses Apple in-app purchase and RevenueCat to offer and manage Renewal Buddy Pro. Purchase history may be processed to unlock paid features, validate purchases, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and understand subscription performance. Renewal Buddy does not use purchase history for tracking or third-party advertising.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Renewal Buddy asks your device for notification permission and schedules local notifications based on the dates you enter. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your device settings.
Third-party services
Renewal Buddy uses RevenueCat for subscription purchase validation, entitlement management, and subscription analytics. Renewal Buddy does not use third-party advertising trackers, bank-linking services, email import services, or cloud databases in the current app version.
Data deletion
You can delete renewals inside the app. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
Children's privacy
Renewal Buddy is a general productivity and household organization app and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If Renewal Buddy adds accounts, cloud sync, bank linking, email scanning, analytics beyond purchase analytics, or other features that affect data handling, this policy will be updated before or when those features are released.
