Gift Buddy Privacy Policy

Gift Buddy is designed to work without account sign-in, store integration, shipment tracking, email scanning, social wishlist sharing, or cloud storage in the current version. The app helps users manually track gift ideas, recipients, occasions, budgets, notes, statuses, optional file/photo attachments, and reminder preferences on device.

Information Gift Buddy stores

Gift planner information you enter is stored locally on your device using app storage. This may include recipient names, relationships, budgets, interests, sizes, gift ideas, store links, prices, occasions, dates, statuses, notes, file/photo attachment references, and reminder preferences.

Purchases

Gift Buddy uses Apple in-app purchase and RevenueCat to offer and manage Gift Buddy Pro. Purchase history may be processed to unlock paid features, validate purchases, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and understand subscription performance. Gift Buddy does not use purchase history for tracking or third-party advertising.

Notifications

If you enable reminders, Gift Buddy asks your device for notification permission and schedules local notifications based on the dates you enter. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your device settings.

Third-party services

Gift Buddy uses RevenueCat for subscription purchase validation, entitlement management, and subscription analytics. Gift Buddy does not use third-party advertising trackers, store integrations, email import services, cloud databases, or document-sync services in the current app version.

Children

Gift Buddy is a productivity app for gift planning. It is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children on a developer server.
