Freezer Buddy Privacy Policy

Freezer Buddy is designed to work without an account and without cloud storage. The app helps you track freezer items, freezer locations, categories, quantities, and use-by dates on your device.
Information Freezer Buddy collects
Freezer Buddy does not collect personal information from you for a server, account system, analytics platform, advertising platform, or mailing list.
Information stored on your device
The freezer items, freezers, categories, settings, and reminder preferences you enter are stored locally on your device using app storage. This information is not sent to Freezer Buddy, Lauren Grinder, or a third-party server by the app.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, Freezer Buddy asks your device for notification permission and schedules local notifications related to your saved use-by dates. You can turn reminders off in the app or in your device settings.
Third-party services
Freezer Buddy does not use third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or cloud databases in the current app version.
Data deletion
You can delete items inside the app or use the reset/clear options in Settings. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.
Children’s privacy
Freezer Buddy is a general household organization app and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If Freezer Buddy adds accounts, cloud backup, family sharing, analytics, purchases, or other features that affect data handling, this policy will be updated before or when those features are released.
